Long Distance Love Ends In A Proposal | Boston Engagement Shoot
I'd like you to meet one of the sweetest couples I've ever seen: Hillary and Tucker!
Hillary told me all about how Tucker and her met. "We met in 2003, when I was 18 and Tucker was 21. I was a senior in high school and went down to visit a friend at Plymouth State to "blow off some steam." Luckily, Tucker was taking a semester there between his time at Guilford College in North Carolina. I developed a crush on Tucker right away, we started dating casually and then became more serious in 2004, dating long distance between New Hampshire to North Carolina."
She also filled me in on the proposal:
As you can imagine, we had been getting asked a LOT when Tucker was finally going to pop the question. We were doing our own thing, knowing that when the time was right we would take the next step. On December 4th 2014, Tucker asked if I wanted to go to dinner on a winter Friday night and go see the lights in the Boston Commons as we had done in years prior. I was having a rough work week, and honestly couldn't wait for sweatpants and take out, but agreed to dinner anyways. Boy, I am glad I did! We went to dinner, had some drinks and ventured out to the commons. We were almost all the way through, to the statue of Alexander Hamilton when Tucker got down on one knee.... I couldn't say yes fast enough! So we began our journey as an engaged couple, and typical of us, didn't rush that stage of our relationship either.
Their wedding date is set for September 3, 2016 and will be getting married at a beautiful private family farm in Norwich, Vermont. This blush, gray, and pops of navy romantic themed wedding is going to be here before we know it! They're also very excited to spend the rest of their lives together - it's so clear that this couple is head-over-heels for each other!
You'll see what I mean when you see the photos.
