The Story

The first time Tanille and Jason met was at the beach, and she was just 17 at the time. This chance encounter on the beach had a profound effect on their decision years later to solemnize their love by the beach. Several years later, Tanille and Jason bumped into each other again on a night out in Melbourne.

The Proposal

The day came when Jason popped the big question. They were both in the comfort of their home, and the atmosphere was intimate and romantic. Jason got down on one knee and proposed. Of course, Tanille said ‘Yes!’

Fifi & Edga Bridal Gown

The Gown

Tanille had a close friend of hers who was the owner of Fifi & Edga Bridal. The moment she walked into the bridal showroom and laid her eyes on a wedding gown, she was smitten already. It was love at first sight even before she tried it on and when she eventually did, she liked what she saw in the mirror. The wedding dress was made of two pieces and lace, and despite its traditional look, the wedding gown flaunted Tanille’s figure nicely. She paid for the wedding dress on the spot.

Wedding Day Style

The style Tanille planned for her big day was unconventional, plain and simple. Since she and Jason met for the first time at the beach, both of them decided to choose the beach as the location for the wedding. They adopted the idea of going with an unconventional (bohemian) style or theme since it both of them believed it was perfect for the beach, agreeable and natural. They also used natural colors as the color of their palette and also made use of candles to create a romantic atmosphere. To complement the theme, the couple chose baby’s breath as well as white roses.

DIY Décor Elements

Tanille single-handedly implemented most of the décor elements, from the flowers to the table setting.

Favorite Moment

Tanille’s favorite part of the day was when she laid eyes on her husband as he waited for her at the end of the aisle.

Advice For Brides-To-Be

Tanille’s advice to brides-to-be is that they should try not to be stressed out because everything will work out at the end of the day. She also underscores the importance of hiring someone to handle everything as it could be nerve-racking. Everything pans out well, even the little pieces that seem worrisome.
